Hi, I'm Ben 👋
NoCostWebsites is run by me, Ben — a web designer and developer based in Bournemouth. I've spent over a decade building, hosting and looking after websites for small businesses across Dorset and beyond, from builders and florists to cafés and accountants.
I started NoCostWebsites because the hardest part of getting online shouldn't be the upfront bill. So I build your site first, for free — and if you love it, one simple monthly price keeps it fast, secure and online. If you ever need a hand, you email me and I reply. Simple as that.
We take the risk so you don't have to. You only ever pay for a website you've already seen and love.
Fill in our short application form. It takes about five minutes — just tell us who you are, what you do and what you'd like your website to achieve.

There's no catch — it's just a different way of paying. Instead of charging you £1,500+ upfront like a traditional agency, we build your site for free and earn our keep from the £22.50 monthly hosting fee. If we don't build you a website you love, you don't pay us anything — so we're motivated to do a great job.
Everything your website needs to stay online and healthy: fast UK hosting, your SSL certificate, security monitoring, software updates and friendly support by email. There are no setup fees. If you need content changed after launch — new text, photos or pages — just ask and we'll quote for it.
Your trial starts as soon as you complete onboarding. During those 10 days we design and build your website and you can request amendments. Cancel any time within the trial and you pay nothing at all. If you don't cancel, your £22.50 monthly subscription starts automatically.
No. There's no minimum term. You can cancel your subscription at any time and your final month is simply your last. We'd rather keep you with great service than with small print.
If you already have a domain, we'll link it to your new website — that's included. If you don't, we'll point you to where you can register one (usually £10–£15 a year) and handle the technical setup for you.
Absolutely. We can create a simple, clean logo for your business and use quality stock imagery until you have your own photos. Plenty of our clients start with nothing but a business name.
Your website is taken offline at the end of your billing period, and site data is deleted 30 days later. Your domain name always remains yours. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
Tell us about your business in five minutes, and we'll get to work. Pay nothing until you've seen your website and love it.
